Fix moisture at its source
Inspect leaks, damp walls, plumbing, floors and ventilation before cabinetry is installed. Moisture-resistant materials are not designed to tolerate standing water or a continuing leak indefinitely.
Match cabinet construction to each zone
Dry storage and sink areas face different risks. Specify carcasses, edge sealing and plinth details for each location. Water-exposed joints require careful sealing and workmanship.
Choose hardware for real use
Hinges, drawer runners and lift systems move every day. Select components for actual loads and future spare-part availability. Near the sea, corrosion resistance deserves additional attention.
Design for maintenance
Keep valves, pipes and sockets accessible, ventilate heat-producing appliances and avoid moisture-trapping gaps. A successful kitchen remains easy to clean and repair over time.
Prepare the location, dimensions, current photographs, any existing drawings, required scope and an approximate budget. Giving every team the same information makes early estimates easier to compare.
